Service Workshop for Auto Center Stavanja

Based on the architectural design, we prepared complete PZI (Project for Implementation) structural engineering plans for a new additional service workshop for Škoda and SEAT vehicles at Avtocenter Stavanja. This facility represents a logical expansion of existing service capacities, enabling the client to achieve greater efficiency and improved organization of work processes.

The new facility is positioned alongside the existing Avtocenter buildings and is designed as a functional upgrade of the current infrastructure. Its layout allows for an optimal workflow of service activities while providing the necessary conditions for further business growth.

Structural Design and Technical Solution

The building’s load-bearing system is designed as a steel structure, which allows for rapid execution and rational material use. The structure is supported by reinforced concrete foundations and a parapet wall, providing a stable and durable base while serving as the foundation for the facade cladding.

The structural design builds upon the architectural concept and enhances it with solutions that ensure an optimal balance between functionality, cost-efficiency and and feasibility. Special attention was paid to the integration of the new facility with the existing building, both from a structural standpoint and in terms of spatial placement.

Prepared for Future Expansion

One of the key advantages of the project is the pre-planned possibility of future expansion. The structure is designed to allow seamless extension of an additional bay onto the existing columns without requiring complex modifications to the primary structural system.

This approach enables the client to gradually increase capacity in line with business needs while ensuring a well-planned and sustainable long-term structural solution.

Functional Value of the Facility

The new service facility significantly improves working conditions and the organization of service operations. Additional capacity allows for better workload distribution, increased vehicle throughput, and greater flexibility in delivering service activities.

As such, the building is not only a spatial extension but also an important step toward optimizing the overall service process.

Project Outcome

With the construction of the additional service facility, Auto Center Stavanja has gained a modern, functional, and structurally optimized building that meets current operational needs while supporting future development.

The project represents a comprehensive solution combining technical efficiency, flexibility, and long-term value.
