Joinery Workshop Imoles

From Limited Space to Modern Production

Imoles previously carried out its joinery operations in an old shed, where spatial and functional limitations began to hinder further development. The decision to build a new workshop marked an important step towards greater efficiency, improved workflow organisation, and the company’s long-term growth.

Today, the new hall provides a bright and spacious working environment, tailored to the requirements of modern joinery production.

Project Optimisation and On-Site Adaptations

The investor had already obtained a building permit and prepared detailed design documentation. During the preparation phase, we reviewed the project and proposed several minor yet key improvements, resulting in:

  • better utilisation of space
  • more efficient workflow processes
  • enhanced functionality of the facility

All proposed adaptations were successfully implemented, which is now reflected in a logical layout and ease of use.

A Spacious and Bright Workshop for Efficient Work

The interior is designed with a clear focus on transparency and accessibility. Large open areas enable:

  • smooth material flow
  • easy handling of wooden elements
  • optimal machine layout

Additional natural daylight is provided through strip windows, improving working conditions and reducing the need for artificial lighting.

Flexible Interior Layout

A key feature of the project is its adaptable interior design, customised by the investor according to their workflow:

  • mezzanine for additional storage capacity
  • office space beneath the mezzanine
  • tailored equipment layout

This approach allows for better space utilisation and more efficient work organisation.

Clear Division of Responsibilities

The project was carried out in close collaboration with the investor.

As a steel structure specialist, we ensured:

  • technically refined execution of the building
  • structural stability
  • coordination of all construction elements
  • project adaptations for improved functionality

The investor was responsible for equipment supply and interior fit-out.

Result: A Modern Joinery Facility with Long-Term Value

The completed building represents a modern joinery workshop that combines:

  • functional design
  • high-quality execution
  • flexible interior layout

It provides Imoles with improved working conditions, increased productivity, and readiness for future growth.
