For Salus, we delivered a new warehouse facility providing approximately 2,000 additional pallet positions. The project covered the entire process—from obtaining the building permit and preparing the full detailed design documentation to the fabrication and installation of the steel structure, façade and roof panels, and the green roof. The project was completed with successful acquisition of the occupancy permit.
The solution enabled the client to expand within their existing corporate headquarters, where spatial options were otherwise practically exhausted.
The only available location for the new facility was an unused green area within the complex, as all other surfaces were already occupied by existing buildings or parking areas. A key constraint of the site was the hot water pipeline running beneath the planned location of the facility.
The steel structure proved to be the decisive advantage. Due to its lower self-weight compared to concrete buildings, it allows for shallower foundations. This minimized ground intervention and eliminated the risk of impacting existing infrastructure. The project was executed with the necessary approvals from the local authorities.
