This July, we conducted a fire safety training for 11 employees. Each workplace and shift must have a person qualified to intervene in initial fires and facilitate evacuation of personnel. In addition to the fire safety theory, the employees also took part in a practical demonstration and tried their hand at the correct use of fire extinguishers.
All 11 deployed employees successfully completed the training. Thus, each workplace has at least 2 people qualified to intervene in the case of initial fires, and even in absence of one person, a deputy is still present. The implementation of this type of fire safety training is a key component of ensuring safe working conditions in companies, especially at workplaces where hot works are carried out.
This is one of the many employee safety trainings we organize every year, to continue to provide our employees with the necessary skillset that keep them safe while performing their everyday work tasks.
