As part of a professional excursion, our employees visited the active construction site of an aircraft hangar measuring 47.7 × 69 m for the company Solinair at Brnik, where we had the opportunity to see firsthand how one of our most demanding current projects is progressing.
The structural engineer, project manager, safety engineer, and commercial director each presented interesting insights from their respective fields – from technical solutions and work organization to safety procedures and the commercial background of the project.
By early September, 3,300 m² of the roof had been covered, and in October the installation of the façade panels is underway. Work at a height of 24 meters requires precise planning, strict adherence to safety measures, and close cooperation between designers, managers, and the assembly team. The completion of construction works by Schwarzmann is scheduled for January 2026, and the hangar will be ready for operation in the spring after the installation of specialized equipment.
After the site visit, we concluded the day in a relaxed atmosphere with a bowling session in Ljubljana, filled with good spirits and team energy.
Days like these are a great reminder that success depends on knowledge and the collaboration of the entire team.
