In December, Schwarzmann welcomed students from the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering at the University of Ljubljana. Students from the courses Fundamentals of Steel Structures and Steel Structures 2 had the opportunity to visit the Jampak construction site in Medvode and Schwarzmann’s production facilities, where high-quality steel structures are designed and manufactured.
At the construction site, the students gained valuable insights into the assembly of steel structures, roof cladding installation, and necessary safety measures on-site. The visit continued with a tour of Schwarzmann’s facilities, showcasing key production processes, including welding, steel cutting, sheet metal shaping, and membrane fabrication for fabric structures. The Schwarzmann team delivered comprehensive presentations enriched with real-world examples and answered numerous questions from the engaged students.
Such visits bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and the industry. Given the strong interest from students, Schwarzmann is eager to organize similar events in the future.
